In conjunction with the UK publication of As Good As Dead, the terrific Bookanista asked me to write about a favorite story. I chose Margaret Atwood’s brilliant “Rape Fantasies,” one of the most interesting takes on dramatic monologue ever written.

The company is pretty great, too (Sloane Crosley, Umberto Eco, and Geraldine Brooks, to name a few). NetGalley calls it a "witty and slyly astute novel of betrayal and its aftermath. Psychological drama and suspense at its best."
